Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take?

How long is a piece of string? I can never predict how long we need to work together and prefer that to happen naturally.

I don’t remember my dreams. Does that mean I can’t come to you?

Not at all. If this work is right for you it isn’t unusual to begin to remember dreams once we get to know one another. Psyche appears to be very relieved to discover when someone is listening…

Will I get worse before I get better?

This is frequently asked about homeopathy and it isn’t unusual to experience long buried emotions when undertaking psychotherapy. I prefer to let go of judgmental words like “better” and “worse” in favour of opening our hearts and minds to considering the deeper implications and relevance within your life of whatever is happening.

What does it cost?

I charge £70 per hour. There is a charge for sessions cancelled within 24 hours.

How often will I need to come?

Usually once a week, at a regular time set aside just for you, though I am able to be flexible with persons with unpredictable work schedules.
We can discuss this when we meet.

When are you available?

I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 7pm and occasionally on other days, including on a Saturday morning.

Will I need to commit to a certain number of hours?

No. I do not work to contract, but with whatever your situation appears to need.

Any other Questions?

Do feel free to ask me anything else you need, so you may be sure what I offer is what you are looking for.
